"This Cage" was an experiment with Suno.AI's "Suno Studio". I sang the first line of the song into the Mic and separately played electric guitar into a track. Suno transformed those two pieces, along with the lyrics, into a full song, minus the orchestra. I had Suno add in the orchestra after the initial production was done. It added so much to the song.
The song is about my struggle with cancer, about how I want to be free of this and all that caused it. I hope it resonates with others caught in what seems like "unwinnable" situations.
